It is also a place where beer brewing has been a traditional craft for many years. Make a visit to one of the Freiburg’s largest breweries, where you will learn all you need to know about the purity laws. Afterwards you may want to spend the evening in one of Freiburg’s many beer gardens. Enjoy an overnight stay in a 4-star hotel in Freiburg including buffet breakfast and a 3-course dinner at the hotel restaurant (drinks not included).
Your journey will continue to Heidelberg on the next day. As early as the 18th century, the town was home to a number of small breweries. One that definitely deserves a special mention is “Heidelberger Schlossquell”, a brewery which prides itself on its modern crafting techniques. Spend an overnight stay in a 3-star superior hotel here as well including a glass of sparkling or mulled wine (depending on the season) upon arrival and buffet breakfast in the morning.
