Visit the Padre Gustavo Le Paige Museum, which possesses an important anthropological collection of the Atacemenan culture. Then, continue to the indigenous fortress of Quitor, a defensive site where the first shepherds of this civilization once lived.

Continue on to one of the 'ayllus' or settlements which reflect the social system and communal aspects of this subsistent society. The town of Tulor was first identified by the priest Gustavo Le Paige in 1958. Today, it remains a great historic mystery as only 4% has been uncovered! Discover the archeological village of Tulor which is composed of a series of round rooms connected to each other with communal patios. Today, this site is partially covered by the sands of the desert and represents an archeological enigma.
