Let your professional Blue Badge guide show you the delights of one of England's most famous palaces - Blenheim Palace. Top the day off with a visit to picturesque Cotswolds villages for a traditional lunch.

Begin the day with a relaxing drive to The Cotswolds (approx. 1.5 hours), an area steeped in history and heritage. A charming blend of cottages with honey-colored walls and thatched roofs, market towns with half-timbered houses, and ancient stone crosses, the Cotswolds landscape has been shaped by its history as a center for wool production. Your tour takes you through picturesque villages such as Burford and Woodstock, before arriving in Bourton on Water for lunch (included) and to see the crooked little houses, leaning walls and gabled cottages and Market squares. You will have around 1 hour in Bourton on Water.

After a short stop in Great Tew, you will arrive at Blenheim Palace; birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Built in the early 1700s Blenheim Palace is a masterpiece of English Baroque architecture designed by Sir John Vanbrugh. The stunning State Rooms are brimming with priceless pictures, exquisite porcelain collections and magnificent tapestries.

Spending approx. 1.5 hours at Blenheim Palace you will have time to see the room where Churchill was born and stroll through the grounds of the Palace with its lakes spanned by stone bridges, woodlands and of course the Marlborough Maze, the world's largest hedge maze. Departing Blenheim at around 5pm, you will arrive back in London with memories and photographs to last a lifetime.
