Carcassonne - UNESCO World Heritage Site by Minivan

Spend a morning or afternoon on a small group tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Carcassonne, one of the best preserved medieval sites in France.

Carcassonne is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding sites for those who dream to find out what medieval times were really about, as its one of the most well-preserved fortified medieval cities in Europe. As such, it has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1997 enabling the city to preserve most of its Gothic architectural treasures.

There will be a photo stop on the way to get a panoramic view of the area and upon arrival there will be a guided walking tour. During the tour you will see the Count's castle, the church of Saint Nazari/Saint Selves and the fortifications that surround the city.

Your guide will also show you the different locations for shopping or snacks. During your free time, you have the chance of visiting the Count's castle, take a horse cart tour or a little train tour.
