With expert narration from your guide, the short 30-minute drive from Las Vegas is enough time for a brief introduction to the folklore of the area where your land sailing adventure will take place. The smooth surface of Ivanpah Playa is designated solely for non-motorized use, making it the perfect location for land sailling. On arrival at the awesome Ivanpah Playa, your instructor will give you a brief introduction to the equipment and how to safely navigate your land sailer. After a few practice runs sailing across the desert sands, you can join the group for a mini-regatta - you may even win a prize! Before returning to your Las Vegas hotel, there will be time for a snack with cold beverage, and to capture some holiday snaps of this stunning area. Your Land Sailing Desert Adventure includes hotel pickup and drop off, snack and transportation by air-conditioned minivan.
