This tour, departing from Ocho Rios or Runaway Bay, gives an insight into rural Jamaica and the work of the Bush Doctor. It touches on many folklore remedies and stories while you enjoy spectacular views across mountain ranges and coastal plains. On a clear day, the highest mountain in Jamaica can be seen, which over 56 miles (90km) away, rises majestically in the East.

For the more experienced riders it can be frustrating in a nose to tail ride with riders of different abilities. This private tour has been customized for the more experienced rider so that they can ride at a pace that the head grooms feel they are comfortable with. All riders on these rides are required to wear a safety helmet and are asked to complete a rider profile. Their riding ability will be assessed by the head grooms and the ride will be conducted according to riders ability. No galloping allowed.
