Quad Biking in the Namib Desert

When you go Quad Biking in the Namib Desert you will ride the wildest dunes, roller coasters and spirals of the Namib Desert. For those less adventurous, enjoy a scenic trip aimed at enjoying the fauna and flora of the Namib desert.

Upon arrival at the official departure point you will be shown a short video on the quad biking and other activities on offer. Following this you will receive your safety equipment and your guide will brief you on the terrain you will be riding on, as well as give clear descriptions on the hand signals and explain the controls of the quad bike you will use for your trip. Both manual and automatic quads are available.

Thereafter you will depart and spend one, two or three hours in the Namib desert visiting various vantage points where you will be guided along the slopes of the dunes. You have the option of joining a slower guide who concentrates on the desert fauna and flora or alternatively a group with a more adventurous approach.
