Designed to encourage interaction between visitors, Australian animals and the Zoo Keepers, this tour will give you an in-depth look at the unique Australian fauna and how they are cared for at Taronga Zoo. Your keeper guide will explain the special adaptations of the unique Aussie animals which enable them to live in harmony with the Australian environment.

Taronga Zoo's expansive Great Southern Oceans exhibit is now OPEN to the public and it provides an important and thrilling introduction to Australia's marine wildlife. The new 1.2 hectare exhibit features Australian Sea Lions, Australian Fur Seals, New Zealand Fur Seals, Californian Sea Lions, Leopard Seals, Penguins and Pelicans living in unique displays, emulating their natural habitats and offering spectacular viewing for visitors.
