About This Activity
From your cruise ship in Alexandria to the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, with a licensed Egyptologist who knows both worlds inside out.
Your guide meets you at the port with an air-conditioned vehicle. You drive to Cairo and start at the Giza Plateau, standing at the base of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, seeing the Sphinx, and visiting the panoramic view point where all three Pyramids align for photos.
Then straight to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum ever built. Your guide walks you through the soaring atrium past the towering statue of Ramses II and into the Tutankhamun galleries where his complete treasures are shown together for the first time in history.
Lunch at a quality local restaurant, then return to your ship with 2 hours of buffer before sail-away.
Maximum 8 travelers per departure, so you get personal attention from your Egyptologist. Often you may have the tour to your party only. We have been doing this since 2013.
