During the Ancient Rome Segway Tour you will visit famous sights like the Colosseum & Roman Forum from outside - however you will have the opportunity to integrate your tour with a Skip the Line Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill ticket which you will be free to use at your leisure any time during your trip.
Your meeting location is easy to find, just steps away from the Colosseum where wi-fi and bathrooms are available. Your local Tour Leader will get your set up with your Segway gear and will help you get familiar with the Segway in a fun, easy 30-minute training session. Most guests feel comfortable within minutes, regardless of skill level!
From our convenient starting location, we'll be able to delve right into the sights in no time. Picture daring young Romans challenging each other on their chariots as we enjoy the views over the Circus Maximus, with a spectacular panorama over the Caracalla Baths and the Palatine Hill. As if the view from here couldn't get any better - we'll even visit the Orange Tree Garden with it's towering umbrella pines, bitter orange trees (we don't recommend taking a bite!) and picture-perfect terrace looking on to the cupola's of Rome and its crowning jewel: the Dome of St. Peter's.
Discover the secrets beyond the keyhole of the Knights of Malta and show your friends just how honest you are at the Mouth of Truth. Next, it's on to the Roman Forum where you'll roll past crumbling columns, admirable archways and towering ancient temples. A final highlight is the Capitoline Hill, another pedestrial haven from where you can admire Michelangelo's Piazza and the best view of the forums from above.
With plenty of energy to spare, we'll head to the final waypoint: the marvelous Colosseum. We'll glide around the perimeter and stop for a photo-op - the best view of the ancient amphitheatre is from the outside.

Just select the option including a Skip the Line Colosseum ticket and upon your return to the meeting point we'll provide you with a ticket providing inside, no-line access to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill - and return on your own for a visit! The ticket is valid for up to one year and, once validated, it can be used to visit all three of these magnificent sights over a period of two consecutive days - entirely at your leisure.
