After arriving at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, hop aboard your 9-passenger safari truck to begin your family wildlife adventure.
Take off around the ranch, listening to your guide's entertaining commentary while you admire views of the rolling landscape, home to the vineyards of Malibu Family Wines, which you'll sample during the safari. When the truck stops at a couple of scenic viewpoints, enjoy flights of three white wines and three red wines from the winery's Saddlerock and Semler labels (kids enjoy snacks and sparkling cider).
The animal sightings start at your first stop, where you're introduced to three zebras: Timon, Pumba and Rafiki. Then meet Speeder and his water buffalo family, and see alpacas, yaks, llamas and some Spanish Highland cattle.

When you arrive at a life-size yellow picture frame, jump out with your camera to capture Saddlerock’s views of the Conejo Valley — it’s the perfect location to snap a souvenir family photo. Your tour also takes you past filming sites of several TV shows, movies and commercials that have been shot here over the years, including The Bachelor, The Biggest Loser, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doogie House, MD, and Ghost Whisperer.
Head to Camp Cabernet, a funky vintage trailer park, and then meet a curious camel named Camille before capping off your wildlife sightings with some cute Scottish Highland calves.
