Ever wonder what all of those numbers and buttons on your camera are trying to tell you? Need a good excuse to wander around some of San Francisco's most picturesque neighborhoods? This Crash Course & Walking Tour is designed to provide a basic understanding of the camera by shooting in some beautiful places. The Crash Course & Walking Tour begins in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. Each course starts with a 45-minute discussion about photography vocabulary, rules of the camera, and a brief history of photography - then we hit the streets! Everyone is given a vintage Canon 35mm SLR camera and a roll of film (yes - real film!) then we take a lovely 75 minute walking tour of some of San Francisco’s most famous places - including, but not limited to; Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf & Columbus Ave. Afterwards, the cameras are returned and Method Photo develops your film and mails it right to you. A little education, a little wandering, and some good old-fashioned keepsakes to go with it!
