The tour will depart from Piazza del Gesù where you will receive a training session in order for you to learn how to use a Segway properly. After the overview, it will be easier to take to the little streets and hills like Gianicolo and Piazzale Garibaldi.
You will pass through the narrow streets which outline the ancient buildings and squares and allow your eyes to glimpse at an artistic, warm, and dreamy Rome. Whiz across streets decorated by traditional restaurants, artisan shops, and fountains, on a path submerged by scents and colors from every street vendors' stalls.
Standing tall in the midst of this labyrinth of alleys are monuments such as Villa Farnesina, Palazzo Corsini and most significantly - the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere which you can visit inside as well. To top it all off, you will take a quick rest at the most romantic fountain of Rome, l'Acqua Paola, before going up to the best and most panoramic viewpoint from the Gianicolo (a more than easy climb by Segway) offering a full view over the entire historical center and St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican gardens. Upon your return, you will take a nice, pleasant path across the Isola Tiberina, the beautiful Ghetto and also the Theater Marcello as the sun starts to set on Rome.
