Riding a bike is probably the best way to discover Strasbourg. With about 310 miles (500km) of cycle paths covering the whole Eurometropole, cyclists can easily keep away from fast-moving cars and enjoy a relaxed visit. Get an introduction to Strasbourg by your guide, an experienced rickshaw-wallah who knows his city like the back of his hand.Meet your guide on Place d'Austerlitz, where you will get a short introduction to the city through a talk beside the famous small-scale model (located on Place d'Austerlitz)

Then you'll start the circuit through the old town: Petite France, and then the imperial German district: the Neustadt. It will include the following stops and/or sights:

Crossing Pont du Corbeau then passing Place Gutenberg, and soon you'll arrive in front of one of the highlights of the tour: Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg. Then head to the old town, through Place Kleber and pedestrian street Grand'Rue. A stop on Place Benjamin Zix, in the heart of Petite France district.

Next you'll get to see the "covered bridges" Ponts Couverts and the Vauban Dam (Barrage Vauban) of the 18th century.
On your way to the Neustadt (the imperial prussian district from late 19th century), you'll pass along a piece of the city wall (rue du fossée des orphelins) of the 14th century.

Then you'll marvel at the architecture of prussian buildings, including the Palais Universitaire and the institutions located on Place de la République (Palais du Rhin, Theatre National de Strasbourg) where you'll get an insight of the German side of the city. Passing the city council and the opera house on Place Broglie, you'll cycle through the smallest streets around the cathedral and discover some hidden secrets close to Place Saint Etienne, before heading back to Place d'Austerlitz

The tour lasts 1.5-hours. Please note that your group will have to pick up the bikes on Place d'Austerlitz and park them back at the end of the circuit, this should take 20 minutes. You will be riding your bike approximately 1 hour 30mn, while about 20 minutes will consist of an introduction to the city and the bike pick-up/drop-off.
