We head north of Agadir through Berber Villages walking up into Atlantic Mountains, an area that holds something for walkers, photographers, bird watchers, and lovers of nature in general.The day begins with collection from your hotel to Bananna Village where you will meet your English-speaking tour guide.
Load up the camels with your luggage and begin the hike! Start from Banana village towards the famous Surf Town of Taghazoute along the beautiful sandy beach from Taghazoute.
Continue up into the Atlantic mountains and watch the scenery change along with the altitude as you take in the gorges, rivers, limestone plateaus, and prosperous valleys with palm groves, pine trees, almond trees, argan trees, and medicinal herb plantations .
Arrive in the aptly-named green Paradise Valley, then make your way along the path that leads to the Berber Village of Awgra. Learn about the area’s thyme, and discover the daily life of Awgra Berber folk as they carry out their agricultural daily activities. Once in Awgra, experience Berber hospitality first hand when you share a traditional Berber snack of mint tea, argan oil, honey, and tasty home-made bread.
After lunch you will travel beyond the mountains to a hidden valley with natural botanical gardens, where narrow footpaths offer beautiful scenery and fantastic views of the mountains, you then proceed onto To Imimiki River which takes you back ending your hike in Banana Village where you will be taken back to your hotel in Agadir.
