Join an exciting opportunity to learn photography skills from professional, award winning photographers. Your instruction takes place on-location as you explore some of Canada’s most magnificent scenes in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. Learn new creative photography skills and put them to practice while discovering some of the most beautiful spots nature has to offer.Your 8-hour tour begins in Banff, Alberta Canada. Be prepared to rise early as you will be in the field, setting up well before the sun rises to ensure you have the perfect spot! Meet your photographer guides between 3:30am and 4am, depending on the time of year.

Start your tour with a hot coffee and a muffin while you head off to the sunrise location! You'll stop at up to 3 locations in the Banff National Park and finish by noon. Transportation, breakfast and a bag lunch are included. Sit back and enjoy the short drive as your professional photographers guides talk about photography while en-route. Once on location, your guides will walk you through some tips and tricks as you prepare to capture some amazing scenery!

You'll cover such topics as composition, white balance, exposure and how to master manual mode. For this adventure, you will need a camera that is capable of manual mode, a wide to medium lens and a tripod. Don't worry, once you are signed up, your local tour operator will email you a list of things to pack.

Some of the locations you may visit include favorites like Two Jack Lake, Johnston Canyon, Peyto Lake, Lake Louise or Moraine Lake (just to name a few).

Class sizes are kept small to ensure that your photographer guides provide individual attention to each participant.
