Enjoy a 25-minute helicopter flight of beautiful Resurrection Bay from Seward, AK.  See mammoth ice fields and floating ice bergs the size of houses from the window of a helicopter fitting no more than 6 people.  Upgrade to include lunch and land on a frozen lagoon to walk among the gorgeous scenery. The flight to Bear Glacier, the largest glacier from the Harding Ice Field, is a one-of-a-kind Alaskan experience that should not be missed. Nestled among soaring, snow covered peaks, the glacier rest above a remote lagoon studded with massive ice bergs the size of houses. Cascading waterfalls, old-growth forest and turquoise blue water surround a dramatic, frozen landscape carved and cut by millennia of ice advancing and retreating.

Your trip to the glacier starts with a short check in at the airfield in Seward.  After meeting your pilot, you will go through a short safety orientation before heading to the helicopter.  This trip is for groups of 2-6 people and no more due to the carrying capacity of the vehicle, ensuring a small group with personal service.  You will be given a headset in order to hear your guide more clearly, and then you will lift off and head out to the scenery surrounding Resurrection Bay.  As you ride out of the forest, snowy mountains will greet you in the distance as you head towards the water and the vast fjords that make up the coastline.  From the bay, you will circle the incredible scenery as you take pictures from out of the window.  If you included lunch with the tour, you will land on the lagoon to eat and wander among the strange, frozen landscape.  After approximately 10-15 minutes in the air, you will circle back to return to Seward, completing your almost 1/2 hour trip.
