Cappadocia 2 day small group travel. Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley, Cavusin, Avanos, Ucisar, Kaymakli Underground CityDay 1 – Cappadocia
Departure will be from your hotel at 9:30am. We will be traveling in an air conditioned minibus with your professional English speaking guide on board. The first stop will be at Devrent Valley which is also known as Imaginary Valley does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia.The small fairy chimneys in the valley form a lunar landscape, or moonscape have their strange look. The valley also has many animal shaped rocks.This will be great stop to capture the photos of the rock formations of the unique fairy-chimneys. After Devrent Valley, we will head down to Paşabağ also referred to as The Monk's Valley to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Pasabag in Cappadocia is located on the road to Zelve, coming from Goreme or Avanos. Highly remarkable earth pillars can be seen here, in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name of the place which means: the Pacha's vineyard. We will be having hour Lunch in a near by Restaurant and our next stop will be the city of Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art.

In the afternoon we will head down to The Goreme Open-Air Museum which resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is definitely the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. There are many churches and chapels in Goreme Open Air Museum but the most important ones are; Nunnery, St. Barbara Church, Apple (Elmali) Church, Snake (Yilanli) Church, Carikli (Sandals) Church, Dark Church (Karanlik Kilise) and most importantly Buckle (Tokali) Church. Last stop before returning to your hotel will be the natural castles at Uçhisar. We will finish our day around 5:30pm and you will be dropped off to your hotel.

Day 2 – Cappadocia
Departure will be from your hotel at 9:30am. Our first stop will be Red valley and we will explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike about 5 km through the valley of Gulludere. Our hike will end in Çavuşin village.This village is famous for the houses and churches of the christian clergymen. After lunch Drive to the Pigeon valley. There are also many other pigeon houses in Pigeon Valley which connects Uchisar to Goreme. Most of these cave dwellings have been painted white to attract the birds and their valuable droppings. After having lunch in a near by restaurant we will head down to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. Kaymakli underground city is built under the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli and was opened to visitors in 1964. The ancient name was Enegup. Caves may have first been built in the soft volcanic rock by the Phrygians, in the 8th–7th centuries B.C. Our day will end around 05:30pm and you will be dropped off to your hotel.
