Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (L)
You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:30 am and 8 am, and depart from Saigon heading towards Cai Be. Upon arrival, you will board a boat to Cai Be floating market and there you can explore and discover the local life. Next, you will visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and pop-rice is made. You'll also take a short row on a local sampan, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and have a delicious lunch in the heart of the garden. Afterwards, you will cruise towards Vinh Long and visit a local pottery kilns factory. Proceed to Can Tho, and stay overnight.
Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon (B,L)
You will check out early in the morning from your hotel, and then cruise along the Mekong River to Cai Rang floating market. Next you will take a peaceful bike ride along countryside paths, enjoying the monkey bridges. You can also take a walk through the farms and houses of a nearby village to see fragrant tropical fruit orchards and pause for a cup of tea with friendly locals. Before having lunch, drive to visit a Khmer pagoda. Then head back to Saigon. After your tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel around 5 pm.
