A two-day tour along the south coast of Iceland. Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, Reynisfjara black sand beach. Glacier hike on Vatnajökull glacier, Iceland's biggest glacier. Sightseeing in a small group. Day One
Be ready for some of Iceland's most popular sites. After pick-up, we head out of the city towards the east along ring road nr. 1. Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Here you have a chance to walk behind this magnificent cascade if you like to and enjoy the power of the fall. Next on the agenda is Skógafoss waterfall followed by the black sand beach of Reynisfjara with its basalt columns and famous Reynisdrangar pillars rising from the ocean. The rest of the way to our accommodation place we will travel through immense lava fields covered with green moss with glaciers crawling down from the surrounding mountains. We spend the night in a cozy country hotel.

Day Two - Land of Ice
The second day's highlights are the glacier lagoon, where we will start the day, and a glacier hike on Virkisjolull. At Jokulsarlon you will have a possibility to join an amphibian boat tour during the summer, at other times you will be able to explore the mesmerizing environment on your own before we make our way to the glacier tongue. Before starting the glacier hike, the guide will go through safety rules and make sure you know how to use the glacier hiking gear. We will spend about an hour at the glacier where we will come across crevasses, icefalls and the ancient blue ice.
After the glacier hike, we take off for our return journey to Reykjavik. Although we will be driving the same road as the day before there will still be lots of sights to enjoy on the way.
