At 8:30am, your private English-speaking tour guide will greet you at your hotel lobby before heading to Geyuan Garden, a traditional Chinese garden built in 1818. There are more than 60 varieties of bamboo trees in the back garden along with rockery and plants representing four seasons and complimenting the personality of its owner.

Next, stroll along Dongguan old street. This 0.7 miles (1,122 meters) long street was listed as one of China’s top ten historic and cultural heritages. There are restaurants, boutiques, liquor shops, maltose painting vendors, maltose art vendors, and many other alongside of this street.

Towards the end of the street, there is a Marco Polo Memorial Hall which you will visit. Marco Polo was once appointed by Kublai Khan of Mongolian Empire as a government official in Yangzhou for 3 years (1282-1284). Lunch will be provided at a nearby local restaurant.

After lunch break, ride your rental bike to Slender West Lake, the most popular attraction in Yangzhou, where willow and peach trees, flowers, bridges, and pavilions sprawling along its surroundings. You will also visit nearby Bonsai Museum and be amazed by a variety highly stylized bonsai trees.

After Slender West Lake, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

Day 2: (L)
At 8:30am, your private English-speaking tour guide will greet you at your hotel lobby before heading to Shitasi Wet Market. This market is popular among local people rather than being a market for tourists. Enjoy being a novice surrounded by locals and see how people going about their daily life. You will also see many unfamiliar items and activities which is quite interesting.

Then, bike to Heyuan Garden, which was built in 1883. There is a very unique elevated corridor of almost 1 mile (1,500 meters) long connecting the whole villa and gardens which is considered the origin of Chinese flyover structure.

After the garden visit, enjoy authentic HuaiYang cuisine lunch at Lu's Mansion, an over 120 years old wooden structured complex, before visiting HuaiYang Cuisine Museum to better appreciate the style and history of HuaiYang dishes.

Next, continue to the mausoleum of King Liu Xu and his queen of Han Dynasty (202 B.C.-8 B.C.). The tomb utilized "Huang Chang Ti Chou" method which is an unique wooden burial methodology developed in Han Dynasty by using only wood as building material in sophisticated jigsaw puzzle formations. The tomb is the largest and most sophisticated "Huang Chang Ti Chou (jigsaw puzzle)" burial structured excavated in China by far.

Before returning to your hotel, you will bike to Daming Temple to experience Buddhist scripture chanting ceremony. You will be escorted back to your hotel afterwards where this two days tour concludes.
