Once you are picked-up from your hotel in the morning, you can head to the Tianmen Mountain (also called Yunmengshan), Zhangjiajie Yongding's highest mountain, only 8 km from the city. The main peak of 1518.6 meters was in July 1992 was approved as a national forest park. You will then get back to the hotel.
Day 2: Zhangjiajie (L)
In the morning, you will take cable car to the “Tianzi Mountain”, which is a scenic attraction, and will offer you a panoramic view of all the mountains and valleys of the Wuling Mountains. In the afternoon you will visit Western Sea, Viewing Terrace and others. You will also tour the Yuanjiajiescenic area boasting the movie Avatar’s viewfinder (up and down by cable cars) and visit the First Bridge under Heaven, as well as Jinbian brook. You will get back to the hotel.
