Underwater visibility in the Turks and Caicos Islands exceeds 100 feet (30 meters) throughout most of the year. The underwater ecosystem around Providenciales is home to an extraordinary array of marine life, including giant sea turtles, eagle rays, sharks, barracuda, African pompano, dolphins and even migrating Atlantic humpback whales—making your 2-tank scuba dive a memorable experience.
After hotel pickup, hop aboard Island Beauty, a comfortable and stable 45-foot (14-meter) dive boat with a spacious dive platform and sturdy boarding ladder. Your small group of 12 will head out with a team of trained and knowledgeable guides, who form each dive group (four divers in total) according to skill level. They use their expertise to choose the best dive sites, depending on local conditions and interests.
If you’re a beginner, your guide will make sure your gear is properly fitted and adjusted as you practice safe diving techniques at shallow depths. Advanced divers have the freedom to set your own course with guides pointing out special undersea highlights that will leave you awe-struck.
Favorite dive locations, many of which feature wall dives, include Grace Bay, Pine Cay, Northwest Point, West Caicos, French Cay, and occasionally North Caicos and West Sand Spit.
