Ksar Hadada is a kind of Berber fortified granary.
Chenini is an ancient Berbers’ village stretched on the top of the mountains.
Ksar Ghilane oasis is located almost 100 km deep in the Sahara Desert.
DAY 2
Douz is the desert “capital” of Tunisia. See again sandy Sahara desert (Grand Erg Oriental)
Fatnassa - very photogenic dunes.Sometimes it is possible to take a photo with live scorpion.
Shott el Jerid salt lake - the biggest salt Lake in Northern Africa. Time to buy desert roses, dates or souvenirs
Visiting oasis by carriage. Observing irrigation system and specific oasis vegetation. Next check in the hotel and dinner.
DAY 3
Famous "Star Wars” decorations in the middle of the desert
Ong Jmel mountain which resembles sitting camel. The mountain was used a scenery for many films e.g. “The English Patient”.
Shott el Gahrsa breathtaking views of salt lake.
Chebika is believed to be the most beautiful of all Tunisian mountain oasis.
Thamerza is another Atlas Mountain oasis.
