See stunning Resurrection Bay and its beautiful blue lagoon and get up close views of the Bear and Aialik glaciers on this 35-minute helicopter flight outside of Seward.  Take photos of massive ice bergs, get up close to where a glacier drops 500 ft. into the sea and enjoy aerial views of Kenai Fjords National Park. The flight to Bear Glacier, the largest glacier from the Harding Ice Field, is a one-of-a-kind Alaskan experience that should not be missed. Nestled among soaring, snow covered peaks, the glacier rests above a remote lagoon studded with massive ice bergs the size of houses. Cascading waterfalls, old-growth forest and turquoise blue water surround a dramatic, frozen landscape carved and cut by millennia of ice advancing and retreating.

Your trip to the glacier starts with a short check in at the airfield in Seward.  After meeting your pilot, you will go through a short safety orientation before heading to the helicopter.  This trip is for groups of 2-6 people and no more due to the carrying capacity of the vehicle, ensuring a small group with personal service.  You will be given a headset in order to hear your guide more clearly, and then you will lift off and head out to the scenery surrounding Resurrection Bay.  As you ride out of the forest, snowy mountains will greet you in the distance as you head towards the water and the vast fjords that make up the coastline.  From the bay, you will circle the incredible scenery as you take pictures from out of the window.  After experiencing the massive scale of this scenic wander, you will head up and over the mountains to experience Glacier # 2 - the awesome Aialik Glacier with sheer drops into the ocean.  As you head back to Seward, you will be treated to additional aerial views of the Kenai Fjords National Park and surrounding countryside.
