The Paradise Koh Yao is located on the lesser-known island of Koh Yao Noi (Ko Yao Noi), a quiet, tropical getaway in Phang Nga Bay, a national reserve area between Phuket & Krabi. Well away from the major tourist spots of Phuket & Krabi, the resort is still less than one hour away from both locations, with their international airports, by boat transfer. Day 1 Phuket/Krabi to Paradise Koh Yao Resort
9am: Arrive Phuket Airport and transfer to Phuket Yacht Haven pier or from Krabi Airport and transfer to Ao Thalane pier.
We then take you by speedboat to Koh Yao Noi and check-in at Paradise Koh Yao Resort & Spa.
In the afternoon we take you on a speedboat or local Longtail boat for sightseeing at Ko Lao Kudu a stunning lagoon just 600 meters north of Koh Yao Noi with a backdrop of limestone cliffs. We then soak up the sun and enjoy the snorkeling on Koh Hong beach.
After a relaxing afternoon we transfers back to the hotel.
Day 2 Paradise Koh Yao -Village Tours (By Mountain bike/boat) [B/L/-]
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel. At 9am we get ready for a tour of the Island either by mountain bike, jeep, or longtail boat (depending on the weather). We stop at a rubber plantation and find out how the islanders process latex to sheets of rubber. Continue the ride through the rice fields and watch water buffaloes and local bird species. Go shopping at local fruit and fish markets. Have lunch in one of the many roadside kitchens or some of the local restaurants like Sabai Corner or Coconut Corner (tourist favorites). After the markets, cruise around on the island and arrive at Ta Kao village where a group of local women decorate Thai silk with batik pictures. You will be able to see what the local fishermen caught today and may buy some of their catch for dinner. Return to hotel for accommodations.
Day 3 Paradise Koh Yao-Jungle Trekking / Nature Walk [B/-/-]
We enjoy another great breakfast at the resort before heading off for a hike around 8.30am. Our hike takes us up in the hills through Koh Yao Noi jungle. On the way we are likely to see many different birds, insects, lizards and many different indigenous plants. After 2 hours of hiking through the woods, experience the magnificent Buddha tree, the highlight of this small adventure. The tree rises well above 30 meters and it takes about 20 people to reach around its trunk – the perfect spot for a group snapshot. Its crown can be seen from the boat which will be picking you up for the transfer back to the resort after a refreshing bath at a secluded beach close by.
Around 3pm we transfer back to Phuket Airport or Krabi Airport for your departure flight.
