This small group trip, led by a local Aboriginal guide is a fantastic and unique way of exploring and learning about the history and culture of Gregory's Gorge and Millstream-Chichester National Park, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. If a day or two is not long enough for you to see the Pilbara, then take your time on this 3-day tour. With your aboriginal tour guide Clinton, you will be able to take your time to learn about the local culture and experience the area in detail.

Visit George Gorge, which is situated on the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi boundary. Take a refreshing swim in Python Pool, a popular water hole located in Chichester Range, set among tall rock formations.

See Pyramid Hill, a volcanic region active over 600-Million years ago, standing over 722-feet (220-meters).

The group will visit Millstream-Chichester National Park where you will learn the traditional stories about how the Warlu (Serpent) created Millstream during a time known as Ngurra-nyunjunggamu (when the world was soft). Millstream is an oasis in the desert complete with stunning pools and native palm trees. Millstream is the traditional home of the Yindjibarndi people and Yarndanyirra (Fortescue River).

Gregory's Gorge is the place where the Marrga (creation beings) handed down all their knowledge to the Ngarda-ngali (Aboriginal people) during the time known as Ngurra-Nyujunggamu (when the world was soft).

In the evenings, relax and unwind as you camp under the stars learning about the stories associated with the constellations and how these stories assisted Clinton's ancestors to survive in the outback.

Your tour guide has extensive cultural knowledge of the areas surrounding Karratha and will share with you over 50,000 years worth of history and knowledge of the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi people.

Please Note: There are no bathroom facilities at Gregory's Gorge
