This is a great tour that takes you to a close encounter with the wildlife population of the region. If you arrive to Jomo Kenyatta International airport the day before safari starts, please notify us about it and we will organize a transfer from the airport to your hotel booked in advance. 

Day 1 : Nairobi - Masai Mara

Pick up from your place either airport or Nairobi hotel then be transfered to meet the group (joining group safari) and later depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve at 8:30am via the view-point of the western Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch and refuelling. Our journey deepens into the Masai plains, arriving at the camp at around 2pm. We will start the first introduction game drive in the afternoon tracking various animal species and birds which inhabit here. Dinner and overnight provided. Mara Sidai Camp or similar (joining group safari), Mara Sopa / AA Lodge or similar (private safari).

Day 2 : Masai Mara - full day
Our days starts with the breakfast at the camp/lodge and by 8:00am we leave the with picnic lunches for extensive game drive. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. A game drive to Mara river which is point of Migration and point to spot the crocodiles and hippopotamus is always emphasized by our guides. Break for your picnic lunch after viewing the hippos and crocodile. Game drive will continue till 5pm, get out of the park for 2 hours optional activities. Dinner and overnight accommodation provided.

Day 3 : Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive to track the wildcats as they hunt and kill very early in the morning. If you are lucky you will witness a hunt and a kill. At 9:30am back to the lodge/camp for full breakfast, later depart the Mara region for Nairobi arriving back in the afternoon. Drop off at the place of your choice either hotel or airport.

Day 4 : Lake Nakuru
Optionally you can do one extra safari day visiting one of the kenian lakes. In this case on Day #3 we won't stop in Nairobi but will continue our way to Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Overnight with dinner at WCK Guest House or similar (possible to upgrade).
Drop off in the afternoon at the place of your choice either hotel or airport.
