The Bruce Peninsula is considered one of the most beautiful places in all of Ontario. The crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay crash against the towering cliffs of the escarpment, creating what looks like a tropical paradise here in Ontario. But the real surprise is at night, where hundreds of kilometers from any major city, one can see millions of stars light up the night sky.
The trip is a three-day camping adventure off of Cyprus Lake. You'll spend our nights at the campfire roasting marshmallows (and some other delicious gourmet goodies!) and playing camp games, while your days will be spent exploring the beautiful landscape. The highlight of the trip will be a hike out to the famous "grotto" to spend the day relaxing and playing on the shores of Georgian Bay.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
11:30am: Arrive at the park and have an opening ceremony. Set up camp
1:30pm: Learn some camp skills, play games, relax by the beach, get settled in and oriented to the site you'll be on for the next couple of days. Learn how to use an axe, start a fire, some advanced knots, and a slew of other camp skills.
5:30pm: Start prepping your first gourmet dinner.
8pm: Play games, relax by the campfire, watch stars
Day 2:
8am: Wake up and have a wonderful breakfast, coffee, stretch
9am: Gather stuff for the hiking day trip!
1pm: Lunch at the grotto, relax
2pm: Continue adventuring and discovering the beautiful Bruce Trail
5pm: Back to camp for some relaxation, games and free time
6pm: Enjoy an amazing dinner!
8pm: Relaxing by the campfire, watching stars, telling stories
Day 3:
8am: Wake up to a delicious breakfast, coffee, stretch
10am: Pack up campsite
11am: Relax, pictures, lunch, closing ceremony
1:50pm: Tearful goodbye for those not joining on the bus
