This 4 day Yangon-Kyite Htee Yoe (Golden Rock) tour will take you to the beautiful glimpse of the golden rock and offers an unbelievable section of sightseeing attractions in Yangon. Along the way to Kyite Htee Yoe, you’ll discover a country filled with spectacular views, beautiful mountain streams and and gracious villagers.
Day 1: Yangon (D)
Upon arrival at Yangon International airport, your guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel. Sightseeing tour will start the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. The tour continues to Botataung Pagoda is a famous pagoda located in downtown Yangon, near the Yangon River. Then we will bring you to Bogyoke market (Scott market) where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares and so on before you return to your hotel where you will spend the night on.
Day 2: Kyathteeyoe Pagoda (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Golden Rock (Kyathteeyoe), one of the most interesting tourist destinations famous for its mystical pagoda stands on the gold gilded boulder precariously stand on the edge of the cliff which is over 3,000 feet above sea level at Mount Kyat Htee Yoe. Upon arrival to the base camp of the mountain, take the open roof truck about 45minutes drive up and enjoy beauty of the scenery from the top of the mountain. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant. Overnight on the mountain hotel.
Day 3: Kyathteeyoe- Yangon (B, L, D)
Morning after breakfast, come down from the mountain direct proceed to Yangon and Lunch will be on the way at local restaurant. On arrival in Yangon, we can see sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Enjoy sunset views of the golden stupa from this vantage point. Dinner will be serving at Kandawgyi Park. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 4: Yangon (B)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to international airport for departure.
