You'll start your tour with a 9am pickup from either your hotel in Delhi or the airport. Stop at the Lotus Temple (closed on Mondays), which has a striking central hall where you can meditate among thought-provoking quotes of the Baha'i sacred scriptures that are inscribed on the petal alcoves.

Visit the India Gate, a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war. Drive past the grand government buildings such as the President’s House and Parliament House, all of which date back to the time of the British Raj.

Travel to the Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, one of Delhi's major temples and a major tourist attraction. Built by the industrialist G.D. Birla in 1938, this beautiful temple is located to the west of Connaught Place.

After lunch, visit Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays). This structure depicts great Indian culture and its architecture is simply immaculate. This amazing structure boasts 20,000 statues, floral motifs and exquisite carved pillars made of stones, and provides a fantastic visual representation of the Indian culture.

Afterwards, you'll have an evening transfer to the Delhi Railway Station for an overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 2: Varanasi Sightseeing
Arrive at the Varanasi Railway Station in the morning and then transfer to your 4-star hotel in Varanasi. After lunch, visit the Bharat Mata temple which has a huge relief map of India carved into marble. After that, visit Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and have an evening rickshaw (tricycle) ride passing through the busy streets and bazaars of Varanasi. The life on the Ghats is bound in an endless string of rituals; ever-changing aspects of the river and the wide cultural landscape. These rituals have fascinated visitors from all over the world.
