Day 1: Flight from Entebbe – Kisoro
You will meet your guide at Entebbe airport and prepare for your flight to Kisoro with AeroLink. The first part takes you through central Uganda. A view of beautiful landscape of mountains, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest. Pick up at Kisoro Airstrip and transfer to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, optional walking safari and canoe excursion on Lake Mutanda to rendezvous with vehicle at Rubuguri junction to transfer to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. Overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge (FB).
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest South Sector
300m from Nkuringo Gorilla Camp to the visitors reception. Tracking Nkuringo group southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Once there you will first receive a briefing at 8.00am and then start the tracking. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to spend an hour with them. Your time in the forest cannot be pre determined as everyday is different from that previous. On your return to your vehicle you will proceed directly to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge where hot showers and a bowl of potato soup await you. Overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge (FB)
Day 3: Second Gorilla tracking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest south sector
Its’ 23km from Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge to the visitors reception. Tracking Rushaga is in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Once there you will first receive a briefing at 8.00am and then start the tracking. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to spend an hour with them. Your time in the forest cannot be pre determined as everyday is different from that previous. On your return to your vehicle you will proceed directly to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge where hot showers and a bowl of potato soup await you. Overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge (FB).
Day 4: Fly from Kisoro – Entebbe
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Kisoro Airstrip to depart for Entebbe, the driver will then collect you from the airport and accompany you to your guest house. Overnight at Papyrus Guesthouse (B&B).
