Enjoy amazing rides on Transalpina and Transfagarasan Roads - some of the Best in Europe. 4 days on 2 wheels, amazing scenery, great hotels, delicious traditional food and refreshing local drinks. DAY 1: Cluj Napoca – Turda
Our English speaking guide will pick you up from Cluj Napoca Airport. Arrive in Cluj Napoca - a city with medieval atmosphere dating prior to the Roman period. From Cluj Napoca transfer by car to the city of Turda, to collect the motorbikes. Turda is a small town with an intimate atmosphere founded by the Romans under the name of Potaissa. Ride to Turda Salt Mines and enjoy visiting one of the biggest salt mines in the country.
Accommodate in a 3* hotel.

DAY 2: Turda – Alba Iulia – Sugag – Ranca
about 200 km/ 124 miles – 5 hours of riding
Ride to Alba Iulia Citadel and enjoy a nice walk in the old city. Alba Iulia is a star shaped citadel, a fortress with seven bulwarks, common to Vauban style. Continue riding south on Transalpina Road - the highest mountain road in Romania and one of the most spectacular roads of the Carpathian Mountains.
The road built under the rule of King Carol II of Romania is also known as The King's Road. During The World War II the road was rebuilt by the German troops.
Accommodation in a 3* Country Inn in Ranca.

DAY 3: Ranca – Curtea de Arges – Balea Lac – Brasov
about 230 km/ 143 miles – 6 hours of riding
Morning ride to Curtea de Arges. The city is famous for its beautiful Argesului Monastery built in Byzantine style, with Moorish arabesques. Find out the legend behind the the monastery walls and continue your journey riding up to Fagaras mountains.
The road will offer you an amazing ride – Transfagarasan Highway – the most sinuous and challenging of Europe's roads for motorcyclists. Built as a military route between 1970 and 1974, by the communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu (after the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968), the road snakes up into the Carpathians. Continue your journey with the medieval city of Sibiu.

DAY 4: Sibiu – Medias – Turda
Continue riding to the medieval town of Medias, with its beautiful old city, where you’ll make the acquaintance of a unique artist, the only one who uses spider web for his paintings. Travel next to Cluj Napoca for the return flight.
