On this 4-day (three nights) Best Value Aurora Viewing tour, you’ll discover scenic Whitehorse, the Yukon’s capital, surrounded by endless mountains. Day times are free for optional winter sightseeing, shopping and touring in and around the capital.Day 1: Arrive at Whitehorse
Transfer to your hotel. Whitehorse is small and easy to explore on foot or by vehicle. Visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site, the last of the great paddlewheelers who plied the Yukon River system until the 1950’s. Other stops include the Old Log Church, the oldest building in Whitehorse, and the unique Log Cabin Skyscraper, a three story tower made completely out of logs. And when you’ve seen all these top sites, stroll and shop along Main Street, with its shops, galleries and cafes. Later in the evening, set out to the Aurora Centre where you'll seek the northern lights. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.

Day 2: Northern Lights Viewing
Includes optional sightseeing and touring. In the winter season, you have the option to try snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or ice fishing. In the summer/fall season you have the option to try canoeing or go on a guided hiking tour. Relax in sheltered comfort, or under the starry sky beside a warm fire at a tailor-made aurora viewing location. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.

Day 3: Northern Lights Viewing!
Includes optional sightseeing and touring. In the winter season you have the option to try one of the many Yukon winter activities. You’ll get the chance to experience Jack London’s Yukon while experiencing the region’s most popular sport, dog sledding! In the summer/fall season, you have the option to experience the beautiful scenery of Kluane Nationa Park or the stunning vista of White Pass on the way to Skagway on one of the available day tours. Afterwards, you'll set out once more to the Aurora Centre where you’ll seek the sight of northern lights. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.

Day 4: Discover the Yukon
Includes optional sightseeing and touring. Visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for close views of many of the Yukon’s large mammal species including elk, moose, mule deer, caribou, Dall’s sheep, mountain goats, bison and even the musk-ox of the high Arctic - all in their natural surroundings. Not far from the preserve is Takhini Hotsprings, where you can indulge yourself in the natural hotsprings and relax in a breathtaking winter mountain setting. Transfer to the airport.
