This tour takes you to Beaune, capital of Burgundy Wines, and Vougeot, famous for its Chateau and the Grand Cru vineyard. You will discover the "essential" of the region: the Hospices de Beaune, Clos de Vougeot, but also some recreational visits will be on the way, as the last family owned Mustard factory or Red Fruit Farm, where are produced many liqueurs, creams, jams based blackcurrants, raspberries, blackberries ... You will spend 2 nights in Beaune, and 2 nights in Vougeot, both charming wine villages.

This tour takes you to Beaune, capital of Burgundy Wines, and Vougeot, famous for its Chateau and the Grand Cru vineyard. You will spend 2 nights in Beaune, and 2 nights in Vougeot, both charming wine villages. Day 1: Arrival in Beaune
Arriving in the city of Beaune. After check-in you are free to relax or explore the city. There is plenty to see and do here. The famous Hospices de Beaune, a hospital built in the 15th century to look after Beaune’s poor and sick is also very interesting as is the Athénaeum, a bookshop, shop and wine cellar dedicated to the art of wine making. Take your time to explore this nice town, and walk its old cobbled streets. Orientation meeting and delivery of road books, maps, ... Overnight in centrally located 3*hotel in Beaune.

Day 2: Beaune to Beaune: 15.5 miles (25km)
Loop ride through the Côte de Beaune vineyards, and return on wine route south of Beaune, allowing you to visit well known vineyards such as Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Santenay, Chassagne … you may wish to stop by Montrachet, which produces what many consider to be the best white dry wine in the world!. You will have the opportunity to taste some local products. Return to Beaune in the afternoon. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 3: Beaune to Vougeot: 16 miles (26km)
You will cross the vineyards from south to north. After the Côte de Beaune vineyard area you will make your way to the Côte de Nuits area. Night in a charming hotel located in Vougeot facing the vineyards. Take some time to visit the Chateau de Clos de Vougeot and its vineyard, one of the largest single vineyards in Burgundy producing grand cru wines.

Day 4: Vougeot to Vougeot: 19 miles (31km)
You will make a loop through the vineyards of Clos de Vougeot, then Route Grands Crus: Gevrey Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny, Morey St Denis… . You will have the possibility to enjoy some wine tasting on the way. You can also visit a farm producing delicious Red Fruits jams, creams, liqueurs from organic produce grown on site. For the cycling enthusiasts, another optional ride is possible with the visit of the Abbey of Citeaux, known for its cheese. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Vougeot
The tour is officially over after breakfast. Possibility of return by train to Dijon or Beaune.
