Meet your guide at the reception of your hotel and drive to Kara.
Long day driven crossing the region of the forest to reach the rocky hills of the Kabyé people.
Overnight B&B basis at Hotel Kara or similar.

Day 2: KARA – ATAKORA - KARA
Early in the morning drive North to the Atakora chain of mountains;

Drive back to Kara. Visit on the way of a Kabyé village. Overnight B&B basis at Hotel Kara or similar.

Day 3: KARA - SOKODE
Drive down to Sokode visiting the region inhabited by the Bassar. They live in large clay houses with conical roofs and keep the secret of the very old process of iron production: a combination of geology and alchemy.
Arriving in Sokode late in the afternoon. In the evening, fire dance:

Day 4: SOKODE – ATAKPAME - KLOTO
Atakpame. This pretty city, surrounded by hills, lies along the railroad running north from Lome, the capital, to Blitta. Atakpame dates from the 19th century and was first settled by Ewe and Yoruba peoples. Arriving in the forest of Kloto in the evening.
Overnight on B&B basis at Hotel JP Nectar or similar.

Day 5: KLOTO - LOME
Half day of trekking in a virgin rain forest.
Meeting with the world of the forest: the majesty of trees, the cheerful greeting of the people living there, the echoes of animals, the sounds and of tam-tams, the green emerald light filtered through the branches. Drive back to Lome with some visits on the way. Drop off in town and end of our services.
