Our services start at Lago Agrio´s Airport. From Lago Agrio we will drive about 2-hour passing beautiful landscapes to El Puente del Cuyabeno (The Cuyabeno Bridge). Once arrived at 'El Puente' we'll take a break to enjoy lunch and then we will proceed our journey on board of a motorized canoe. Throughout the trip down this narrow river Cuyabeno, you'll be able to admire the wide variety of flora and fauna that the Reserve has to offer. We'll navigate for 2 to 3-hour until we arrive to the Tapir Lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tapir Lodge.
Day 2: (B-L-D)
After a delicious breakfast, we'll travel in canoe upstream to the 'Laguna Grande' (Big Lake) where we'll have the opportunity to observe the surroundings unique Flora and Fauna with inundated forest (Igapo). We'll continue and travel to 'Terra Firme' to begin a trek during which we'll try to see and hear many species of birds such as Woodpeckers, Tanagers, Macaws, and Toucans. Return to Tapir Lodge and lunch. In the afternoon we'll drive with the canoe to a different area of the 'Laguna Grande' where you can go for a swim during a breathtaking sunset. Return to Tapir Lodge and dinner. After dinner depending on the weather conditions, we can take a quick night trek around the Lodge looking for frogs and other night wanders.
Day 3: (B-D)
Depending on the weather conditions we could have an early start and head out on a bird watching excursion. We'll return to Tapir Lodge for the breakfast. Throughout our canoe ride today we'll search Morphos (giant Blue Butterfly), monkeys until we arrive at a small community where we'll have the opportunity to visit and meet Thomas the local Shaman who spends most of his time curing and treating the local inhabitants with his vast knowledge of medicinal plants. He'll share with us his experience as well as the processes for healing people. After lunch we'll meet a local Siona family and join the preparation of a typical bread (Cassava Bread), made of yuca.

Day 4: (L-D)
This day will be scheduled according to your interests, so guests will have the option to choose their activities with the guide. Several options are available, ranging from bird watching, canoeing, fishing, or walking in the rain forest. Lunch will be served at the Tapir Lodge and in the afternoon our guests can enjoy some leisure time and the last sunset over the lake. After dinner, we'll serve and enjoy a farewell Passion fruit Cocktail.
Day 5:
After breakfast we'll depart about 10am from the Tapir Lodge, depending on flight times and weather conditions. We'll make our way back to the bridge, where our private transportation will be waiting for us to take us back to Lago Agrio's airport.
