End your tour with a visit to the Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany that will captivate you with its stunning views. Departing Frankfurt in a comfortable coach, your five-day independent tour to Munich starts with a drive through the Spessart Mountains passing the town of Würzburg, before continuing along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Explore Rothenburg – famous for its medieval old town and town wall – on a guided city walk to see the city’s top attractions, including the Church of St Jacob, which houses an altar by the famous woodcarver Tilmann Riemenschneider.

Spend days two, three and four admiring the picturesque landscapes and passing the charming towns along the Romantic Road.
