This is a special tour designed for exploration of famous holy monasteries in Lhasa, Gyantse, and Shigatse. In addition to visiting sacred attractions such as Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and the Great Three Gelukpa university monasteries, you will also see stunning scenery of Yamdrok Lake.
Day 1 - Arrival at Lhasa
Your local guide will hold a sign with your name on it to pick you up from the airport. Your airport shuttle bus leaves at 12:30PM and 4:00PM daily from Lhasa airport. Each passenger (except infants) is allowed to check in a maximum of 2 pieces of baggage with total dimensions per bag not exceeding 62 inches (58 center meter) . Over sized and excess baggage are subjected to the availability of storage space on shuttle bus and surcharge will be applied. You may arrange your airport to hotel transfer if you do not prefer airport shuttle bus service.

Day 2 - Lhasa City Tour (B)
You will be picked up from your hotel lobby at around 8am to start your Lhasa City Tour. Today's tour includes Barkhor Street, Potala Palace, and Jokhang Temple.

Day 3 - Lhasa City Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will visit Drepung Monastery, and Sera Monastery. Take your time to explore these holly monasteries at your own pace for a serene and tranquil experience.

Day 4 Lhasa to Gyantse to Shigatse (B)
You will be transferred from Lhasa to Shigatse via old Mountain Road. On the way, you will make a stop to visit Yamdro-tso Lakes while passing through Karo-la glacier at 16,276 feet (4960 meters) above see level. Upon arrival in Gyantse, you will visit Pelkhor Chode Monastery. In the afternoon, you will reach Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet where Pamchan Lama resides.

Day 5 - Shigatse to Lhasa (B)
In the morning, visit Tashilunpo Monastery, one of the oldest and largest Gelug sect monasteries in Tibet. Tashilunpo Monastery is also the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lama. Later today, your will be transferred back to Lhasa driving through the green farmland of Nyangchu Valley.

Day 6 - Depart from Lhasa (B)
Your airport shuttle bus leaves at 7:30am and 11:00am from downtown Lhasa. You will be picked up from your hotel lobby. If you prefer, you may arrange your own hotel to airport transfer.
