Enjoy a grand tour of the incredible scenery surrounding Seward, Alaska on this 1 hour helicopter trip.  Visit the massive Bear Glacier in Resurrection Bay and see the giant ice bergs floating in the lagoon, then head over the mountains to Aialik Bay.  See dozens of glaciers up close as you search for breaching whales, calving ice sheets and foraging bears. There is no better way to see the breath taking Alaskan scenery surrounding the Kenai Fjords National Park and Chugach National Forest than by air.  Massive ice fields stretching for hundreds of miles spawn smaller glaciers in every direction.  Jagged fjords cut thousands of years ago push out of the frozen sea while crystalline waterfalls cataract back down their rocky slopes.  Precipitous drops, imposing walls of ice and rock, blue lagoons filled with a flotilla of house-sized bergs - this dramatic and inhospitable landscape is full of wonder defying your camera's attempts to capture it.

Your 1 hour tour starts near the airport in Seward, AK.  After meeting your pilot and the rest of your group, you will board the helicopter and take off through the heavily forested landscape as you head towards the national park.  You'll receive a headset to dampen the noise of the rotors and to communicate with your pilot throughout the trip.  The area is full of wild life, so you'll need to look closely as you search for moose, wolves, bears, deer, elk and even whales breaching the water near the bay.  You'll start in Resurrection Bay, home to Bear Glacier and the Harding Ice Field, with more than 300 sq miles of ice spread out before you.  After circling the lagoon and passing by the ice sheet, you'll head to Aialik Bay, home to Aialik Glacier and a wall of ice crashing into the sea.  Passing low by the ice, you might just witness the ice calving, breaking into smaller parts and crashing down into the salty water.

From Aialik Bay, you'll head over the mountains again for more views of wild life and valleys, old forest and glacier-cut mountains before heading back to Seward for a safe landing back at the airfield.
