Upon your arrival to Lima, you will be met by your representative and then be transferred to a hotel in Miraflores to rest.
December 28th, 2017: Fly from Lima to Cusco – City tour (B)
6:50am: You are picked up from your hotel in Lima, and then transferred to the airport to take a flight to the city of Cusco,
10:20am: Departure from Lima to Cusco
11:30am: Arrive in Cusco, and head to your hotel to rest and get acclimated to the altitude.
1:45pm: You will start the city tour visiting the Cathedral, the Inca Temple of the Sun, Tambomachay, Qengo, Puca Pucara, and Sacsayhuaman.
6pm Back to your hotel for the night.
December 29th, 2017: Cusco - Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu (B, L)
8:00am: Travel to Pisaq ruins
10:00am: Pisaq market
12:30pm: Lunch in Urubamba.
1:45pm: Visit Ollantaytambo archaeological park.
3:37pm: Train to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu.
5:10pm: Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Spend the night in the town of Machu Picchu.
December 30th, 2017: Machu Picchu Tour - Return to Cusco (B)
7:00am: Travel by bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour exploring the most important temples and learning about the history of the site. You can spend time exploring on your own then head back to Aguas Calientes where you have free time to lunch for your own.
2:55pm: Train to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to your hotel in Cusco by car. Arrive to Cusco at approximately 6pm.
December 31st, 2017: Main Market of San Pedro – New Year's Eve Dinner (B, D)
11:00am: Visit the main market of Cusco to shop for confetti and see the traditional costumes for the New Year celebration.
You'll have the afternoon at your leisure.
9:00pm: You'll be taken to a special dinner to begin your New Year's celebration.
10:30pm: Head to Plaza de Armas for a New Year's party in the main square. There will be a traditional band of folk music and you'll cheer together with all the local people.
1:30am Back to your hotel.
January 1st, 2018: Fly From Cusco to Lima (B)
9:30am Transferred to the airport to take a flight to the city of Lima, arriving around 12:10pm.
