Come and cycle some of the most spectacular and famous roads of the French Rhône-Alpes with the support of a van and highly experienced guides. Alp d'Huez, Col de la Madeleine and Col de Joux Plane all feature on this road cycling holiday of a lifetime, following in the pedal strokes of the Tour de France riders. Upon arrival at Geneva airport you will be met by one of the friendly guides who will transfer you to the hotel in the picturesque alpine village of Samoëns. Here you will meet the rest of the group and have some free time to build your bike, use the hotels facilities or wander around the village.

That evening the group meet at the hotel for a briefing about the trip ahead and the next day's route. After this you are free to choose where you would like to have dinner, although the groups often tend to dine together and the guides will be happy to recommend some options.

The following day breakfast is provided at the hotel and then the group will assemble with their bikes at the bus at an agreed time. You will be given a map of the days route, with your guide;s contact details and given instructions on the route up to the first re-group point. Then the group will all roll out together. As a rough guide each day will involve 62 miles (100km) of riding with 6.562 ft (2,000m) of positive height gain. For those that would like to do a bit more there is an optional climb each day.

On the rides there is a bus that follows the group for support as well as snacks and drinks to keep you going. Stops are generally made at cafes and restaurants along the way to ensure you are well fueled and get an opportunity to soak up some of the local culture. Depending on the events of the day the group generally arrive at the hotel around 4pm and if you are doing the optional climb you can expect to be back around 6pm.

The process then starts again with free time to relax and explore the local villages, a briefing and then dinner. On the last day you will be transferred from the hotel back to the airport.
