A motorcycle adventure covering the best motorcycle roads in Transylvania. You will ride the Transfagarasan Road - referred to as the best in the World and Transalpina Road - the highest mountain road in Romania. Great scenery, winding roads, medieval castles and citadels, traditional food and refreshing local drinks. Day 1: Cluj – Turda
Welcome to Romania! Transfer to Turda. Founded by the Romans under the name Potaissa, the city is famous for the biggest salt mines in the country – Turda Salt Mines. Visit the Salt Mine and let yourself be impressed. Accommodation in a 4* hotel.

Day 2: Transalpina
A great mountain road for you today - Transalpina Road. With its highest point at Urdele Pass – 2,145m above sea level, the road is the highest mountain road in the Carpathians. Ride Transalpina and stop in Ranca for accommodation in Country Inns.

Day 3: Transfagarasan
An incredible ride for you today – Transfagarasan Highway – the most crooked and challenging of Europe's roads for motorcyclists. Built between 1970 and 1974 as a military route, by communist dictator Ceausescu (after the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968) it snakes up into the Carpathians. Accommodation in Brasov in a 3* Hotel

Day 4, Brasov – Sighisoara
Bran Castle is on your agenda today. The Castle is famous for its unique charm and for the myth the writer Bram Stoker has created around Dracula. Ride your motorbike to the medieval citadel of Sighisoara. The citadel was founded during the 12th century by the Saxons. Sighisoara is known as one of Europe’s still inhabited fortifications and it has gained the UNESCO World heritage site status. Accommodation in the medieval citadel of Sighisoara in a 3* hotel.

Day 5, Sighisoara – Borgo Pass
Stroll the medieval streets of Sighisoara. Ride your motorbike to Borgo Pass. Situated at the border between Transylvania and Moldavia, Borgo Pass is home to Dracula’s Castle, as imagined by Bram Stoker, the writer of the novel Dracula. Put your courage to test test - visit Dracula’s Coffin in the basement of the Castle. Accommodation in a 3* Hotel.

Day 6, Borgo Pass – Barsana
Explore the historical land of Maramures today. The region is well known for the wood carving work that has been made by the craftsmen of the place. Visit one of the woodcraftsman at his workshop in the village of Sacel. Accommodation in traditional guest houses in the village of Barsana, home to Barsana Monastery.

Day 7, Barsana – Cluj Napoca
Your last day in Transylvania. Leave the northern part of the country but not before visiting the merriest cemetery in the world - the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta. With the Top Box full of memories and surely some regrets say good bye to Romania. Transfer to the Airport for your flight.
