For those who love snow and beer, this is the perfect getaway. Our seven-day trip is absolutely perfect for the sports enthusiast who wants to try some of the worlds best dark beer. During the period of Lent, the Paulaner monks create one of my favourite beers: Salvator. This nectar of the gods was originally designed to help the brethren survive the hard fast of Lent, keeping them spry for their prayers. Today’s version is just as strong and dark as it was in the 17th century, and it fits perfectly with an Alpine ski trip by keeping those muscle cramps at bay and keeping the cold weather bearable.

We bring you to two famous Starkbier Festivals in Munich on two separate occasions, then travel to my favorite, family-owned brewery to try their Starkbier and compare. In between drinking sessions, we spend four days Alpine skiing or snowboarding in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and Lermoos, Austria. Topping off the week, we visit one of my favorite castles: Neuschwanstein. It is the perfect Alpine adventure!
