DAILY PROGRAM
1st Day
Arrival in Viterbo and check-in at B&B or mini-apartment located in the medieval old town. Meet at 1:00 pm for the welcome lunch and, in the afternoon, guided tour of the city of the medieval town of Viterbo.
2nd Day
Meet at 8:30 am and leave for the tour of Civita di Bagnoregio, the famous “dying city”, with lunch in Civita di Bagnoregio featuring authentic local dishes. In the afternoon, tour of the spectacular renaissance Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo.
3rd Day
Meet at 8:30 am and leave for the visit to the extraordinary Wine Museum of Castiglione in Teverina, with tour, lunch and wine tasting at an organic winery. In the afternoon, a stop at the TermedeiPapi thermal spa for a rejuvenating bath in its warm sulphurous waters.
4th Day
Meet at 8:30 am and leave for the tour of the Archaeological Park of Vulci. Lunch in the Park featuring game meats. In the afternoon, tour of the Etruscan Necropolis of Tarquinia, UNESCO World Heritage.
5th Day
Meet at 8:30 am and leave for the tour of Bolsena. Visit of the village, the medieval castle and the catacombs. Lunch featuring authentic dishes from the Lake Bolsena area and in the afternoon, boat trip on Lake Bolsena. During the winter months, the boat trip will be replaced by a tour of Bolsena workshops.
6th Day
Meet at 8:30 am and leave for the tour of the medieval Farnese Hermitages carved into the rock, with a picnic on the site. In the afternoon, we’ll take you to visit Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola followed by aperitif featuring authentic local delicacies. During the winter months, we'll take you to visit the renaissance Villa Lante instead of the excursion to the Farnese hermitages with a lunch in Viterbo in an authentic restaurant.
7th Day
Breakfast, check out and free day for the last shopping or to visit the Colle del Duomo Museum.
