Meet your guide at the airport and then drive through some of the most scenic areas of eastern South Africa on your way to the start of your panoramic tour. Your tour starts today already, at the historic town of Pilgrims Rest… The entire town of Pilgrim's Rest was declared a National Monument in 1986 as a living memory of the early gold rush days in South Africa during the late 1800s / early 1900s. From there you'll drive to the small town of Graskop and stay at the local guest house called Westlodge Bed & Breakfast (D)
Day 2: Full Day Panorama Route Tour
After breakfast, you'll head out on the road… First heading off to Bourkes Luck Potholes. From there you'll make your way down the ridge and visit two separate natural waterfalls before making your way up to Gods Window. From there, head off to a local coffee plantation and enjoy locally brewed coffee, a milkshake for the kids and cake out on the veranda overlooking the mighty Sabie River! After a truly amazing day on the panorama route, you'll head off to your overnight accommodation which is tucked away in the heart of the picturesque Sabie Valley on the banks of the Sabie River called Laughing Waters Guest House (B/D)
Days 3 to 5: Klaserie Private Nature Reserve
After a relaxed breakfast you travel to the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, a 148 000 acre (231 mi²) private conservancy that is open to Kruger National Park, allowing animals to roam freely. You’ll check into our exclusively private game lodge in time for lunch and have time to relax before your first afternoon safari, lead an experienced field guide and tracker. The lodge is exclusive to just you and your party
Over and above the wonderful animals you are likely to see here, a true highlight will be observing how the guides track the big cats (B/L/D)
Day 7: Departure
After a last morning safari you will leave the reserve and head back to the airport in time for departures (B)
