The Walpole-Nornalup National Park offers breathtaking 400 year old Karri forests rolling into mist cloaked waterways and wild coastlines. It spans approximately 5000 hectares of near pristine bushland and waterways ideal for kayaking and bushwalking. Walpole boasts the only place in the world to see the unique Red Tingle Trees and its waterways light up at night due to the bio illuminessence swimming below the surface. This all takes place just 355km south of Perth near the Southern most tip of Western Australia.

The kayaking is phenomenal, Nornalup inlet branches off into winding river’s that cut through the near pristine forest allowing for a protected and unique paddling experience. This often can see groups paddling almost directly under the forests canopy within meters of these giant tree’s. On top of this the forest boasts world recognised walking tracks such as the Bibblumun track that runs from Perth to Albany. Rest assured, you will not be walking this far but the trails will allow you to step off your kayak to explore and discover further.

The journey begins in Perth with a 6 hour drive south to a secluded camp ground with option to stay in a tent or a chalets. Over the next three days you'll paddle along the winding water-ways that cut through seemingly endless forests. Each evening you'll leave your kayak and drive back to base camp to unwind over a cold beer or chilled wine.

The last day is spent exploring Walpole surrounds and includes a guided tour in the world famous Valley of the Giants. You have the opton of walking 40 meters high on suspended boardwalks, or swimming and relaxing in fresh water pools deep within the heart of the forest. Finally, you'll enjoy an evening meal with your fellow travelers before returning to Perth the following day.
