Itinerary
Day 1-4: Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. The following morning we visit Bangkok's most famous landmarks: the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew with the Emerald Buddha and dine on a river cruise boat, an old rebuilt rice barge. During a quiet romantic candle lit tour you can enjoy the traditional Kim (Thai xylophone) music.

On day 3 we explore Bangkok by bicycle. This tour will take you to places hardly visited by tourists. You will ride through markets and little alleys. Take a boat trip across the Chao Phraya river and continue your tour through a green landscape scattered by fruit plantations and typical Thai style houses. Listen to the singing birds and get a friendly hello from everyone you meet. No cars, no traffic jams.
The following day we go to Ayutthaya & River Kwai. We visit the most important ruins and remaining historical attractions of Ayutthaya. Back to Bangkok by cruise boat over the mighty Chao Phraya river.

Day 5: Drive through the rural landscapes outside Bangkok towards Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai. A long tail boat first takes you to the famous Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak. See, feel and smell the old style and traditional way of selling and buying vegetables and fruits from small boats. Visit the Bridge over the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, the Jeath war museum and the war cemetery. A long tail boat will take you, along the River Kwai, to a floating hotel. This place is magic. The floating bungalows are built on bamboo-rafts surrounded by magnificent jungle. The accommodation is basic with private bath and shower. There is no electricity but oil lamps and a very cosy atmosphere. See Burmese Mon dancing or take a swim in the river. Overnight on the River Kwai.

Day 6. Visit the wonderful waterfalls in the Erawan National Park. The falls cover 7 levels over 1550 meters. They belong to the most beautiful falls in Thailand. You can walk up to all 7 levels. The highest levels require some creative walking but the climb is more than worth the effort. You can swim at various locations. Around the park there are various caves with impressive and sometimes bizarre stone formations. In the early afternoon you will take a train ride on the famous Death railway. The scenery is stunning, especially over the bridge itself. Make sure that you have your cameras ready. Onward to Hua Hin. You will arrive at your hotel in Hua Hin in the early evening.

Day 7 and 8: Hua Hin. Two free days in Hua Hin to enjoy the beach and the sun. On day 8 you will travel comfortably by private air-conditioned minivan to Bangkok's international airport. There you will arrive on time for your connecting flight back home. This tour ends upon arrival into Bangkok.
