This tour is for adventurers seeking a private full day Everglades trip to Big Cypress, the 10,000 Islands and the Gulf of Mexico.  Tour mixes Native American history/archaeology, abundant wildlife in Big Cypress, and a backwards and forwards look at the Everglades park's complex history.The 7 hour all-day adventure is nothing short of a thrilling experience, with components of educational learning along the way.  Come learn about why the Miccosukee Tribe considers the Everglades their mother, protecting them from the US Army during the Seminole Wars and who recognized them as a sovereign nation within the Everglades in 1962.  Along the way you'll learn about the environmental history of Everglades National Park, and how it how it all started back in 1890. So come enjoy a Miccosukee Airboat ride to tree island and stops over at Clyde Butcher Photo Gallery, and the Oasis Ranger station.  From here you'll head to the Smallwood Store which is a 100 year old trading post now a museum where you will catch a boat thru 10,000 Islands to the Gulf of Mexico.  The stone crab lunch is optional before you head over to Swamp Trail Boardwalk, and then finally down a back road to where you will finish up near Miccosukee reservation in the Big Cypress National Preserve.
