Enjoy a guided tour to the archaeological site and museum of Ancient Olympia with a licensed guide and air-conditioned vehicle. The tour includes pick-up and drop-off from/to Katakolo Port and free time to explore the modern Olympia town.

After disembarking at Katakolo Port, a guide will meet you and proceed to the vehicle for the drive through the countryside (approximately 30-40 minutes) towards Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and the most important sanctuary of Zeus, father of all gods and goddesses.

The starting line is still visibly etched on the marble in the stadium, inviting you to imagine running and competing with the ancient athletes. Enjoy the play of light on the soft greenery and dappled ancient columns in this wonderful and peaceful setting. Visit the archaeological museum beside the ancient site. It contains very interesting exhibits, such as the pediments and the metopes of the Temple of Zeus, the Statue of Nike and Hermes. The tour at the site and museum will take approximately 2-3 hours.

After the tour, there will be free time for relaxing and shopping in the town of Olympia. We will then return to Katakolo Port to embark on your cruise ship.
